Why are Stacey and Mark competing in America’s Favorite Couple?

We entered to raise awareness and support for building an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) for Stacey’s children’s father, who has CADASIL, a rare genetic dementia. The ADU will allow care with dignity and close family connection.

An Accessory Dwelling Unit is a small, independent home on the same lot as a primary residence. ADUs support multigenerational living, caregiving, or guest housing. Ours will support a loved one with CADASIL.
